Situated in a commanding position at the top of the mountains. TUCKED AWAY at the Top is the perfect 3-story cabin with stunning views of the North Georgia mountains. Three Queen Beds and 3 Full Baths. Enjoy the peace, beauty, and fun of a private mountainside retreat with Vogel State Park, Brasstown Bald and the Appalachian Trail only a short drive away.
One Family Dog is welcome to join you as a guest on your vacation as long as behave as well as you do!
You'll truly feel totally at home while you're Tucked Away at the Top!
THE SPACE
The drive up the paved road to the top is so fun and once you're arrived you will be glad you have! View the North Georgia Mountains from inside the cabin as well as the breathtaking scenery from all three decks!
Relax in the living room with family and friends by the fire or set up for some stargazing on the top level private deck with reclining chairs. You can also hang out in the game room and play pool or ping pong, or darts, while using the smart TV.
Wherever you hang out this cabin is extra cozy and well thought-out. It's ready for your stay to be relaxing and fun! With labels to help guests quickly learn where everything is and how everything works, you'll feel like it's YOUR home in no time!
The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of little extras you'll be grateful for, plus an electric grill on the main level deck available for use too!
The full-kitchen opens to a great room with vaulted ceilings, a cat walk, and a fireplace. On the bottom level of the home is a a game room with a pool table, ping pong table, dart board and smart TV.
We know you'll love every moment while you're Tucked Away!
GUEST ACCESS
The whole home is yours! We reserve 1 owner's closet for our stuff and 1 cleaning closet for storage!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The drive up to Tucked Away is paved, and it is steep. This makes parking only possible for 3 cars. You will have to walk up a steep grade, or stairs from the bottom floor, to access the main level of the house where the kitchen is.
Additionally, although it is highly unusual, snow or ice may make the road difficult to climb and access to the lodge, 4 WD recommneded.
For your protection, Trip/Travel insurance is recommended. This will protect you from situations that are out of anyone's control. For a nominal fee, you can select the in-house travel insurance option at reservation time or call our office to have it added to your reservation. We do not accept or honored any external Travel Protection and Insurance Services.

My two sisters, brother-in-law and I stayed at this cabin over the Christmas holiday. I was surprised and very pleased to find a lighted, decorated Christmas Tree when we first entered the cabin! Everything was spic and span, the beds very comfortable and the views spectacular! I give this a 5 star review.

We truly enjoyed getting away from the hustle, bustle and oppressive heat back home. The views are gorgeous and the solitude/quiet refreshing. You will definitely get your workout walking the trails but it’s a great way to earn that end of the day glass of wine. Ana and her team did a great job of having the house ready for our stay as well as responsive to any questions that popped up. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our time. The views from the house were great and we liked having the gas fireplace, pool table and darts for the evening. Lots of hiking and small towns to explore. We did not like the limited Roku tv and the refrigerator had a spill in the drawer and old food inside. We enjoyed the high climb to the house with our Jeep, however it might be tough for a large vehicle or in slippery weather.

The cabin is clean and nicely equipped. The road to the cabin is paved but very steep and can be difficult to navigate in the dark. The bedroom on 2nd floor has a door. The bed on top level is on the open loft above 2nd floor. The bathroom on first floor is really only practical for children. The toilet and shower are very cramped for adults. In summary - the cabin is great for one or two couples but not for three.

Tucked Away, is a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom log cabin, perfect for 3 couples, the bathrooms are spacious with plenty room to navigate even 2 people at the same time. The multiple pictures in our listing sites clearly shows the plenty room of each bedroom and full bathrooms.

What an amazing cabin! Pictures don't do it justice, the opposite of most AirBnB listings. Cocktails on the deck in the evening and coffee in the morning while taking in an incredible view, all the amenities one could want, very comfortable, everything in great condition, short drive into town for restaurants and groceries, short drive to scenic and tourist spots. Reserve this cabin with confidence, it's a gem!

The fireplace operating instructions are included in the arrival message and I agree it would be beneficial to keep them nearby the fireplace itself!
Also, it is 100% okay to hike the trail behind the house! We do have more information we could have sent if we had known you were interested. If you follow the trail up and then to the right it will take you back down to the base of the community and then you can hike back up the road. About 2 (steep!) miles in total. I really appreciate the feedback to note it somewhere in the cabin itself too.
We are always looking to improve our guests' experience so thank you for helping us to do so! Please come stay again!
Great place for rest and relaxation. I would recommend 4wheel drive or AWD during the winter months. Driveway is a little steep. Had a great time.
